Mombasa girls trip packages take the planning off one friend's shoulders. We book the train, the hotel, the transfers and the fun bits. You just agree on the dates and the outfits.
Every package here is priced for four friends sharing two twin rooms. Groups of six, eight or more get the same plan with extra rooms. We can also split the invoice so each friend pays her own share by Mpesa.

- Day 1
Nairobi to Mombasa and beach check in
Meet at Nairobi Terminus for the morning SGR. Grab seats together, play music in your earphones and start the gossip. Our driver meets you at Mombasa Terminus in Miritini and takes you to your hotel on the north coast. Check in, change and hit the pool. In the evening enjoy dinner at the hotel or head out to a Nyali restaurant. We can book a table if you tell us your vibe.

Beach morning and sunset dhow cruise
Sleep in. Have a slow breakfast and spend the morning on the beach or at the spa. Some groups add jet skiing or a glass bottom boat. In the late afternoon we collect you for a sunset dhow cruise. You sail past Fort Jesus and the Old Town as the light turns gold. It is the best photo moment of the trip, so dress for it. Dinner on the dhow is included on most cruises.

Old Town, shopping and the train home
After breakfast and check out, take a short guided walk in Mombasa Old Town. Try spiced coffee, mabuyu and Swahili snacks. Pick up kikoi, kanga and leather sandals as gifts. Our driver then takes you to Mombasa Terminus for the afternoon SGR to Nairobi. You arrive in the evening with full camera rolls and sandy bags.

We left days open on purpose. Girls trips are about time together, not a packed timetable. Add activities if your group wants more action.
How much is a girls trip to Mombasa?
Expect KES 20,000 to 53,000 per person for 3 days and 2 nights, before spending money. The budget option uses Kahama Hotel in Bamburi at about KES 8,000 per room per night with breakfast. The all inclusive option uses Voyager Beach Resort in Nyali.
Budget another KES 5,000 to 15,000 each for meals out, drinks, tips and shopping. If money is tight, look at our cheap Mombasa holiday packages and travel mid week.
Which hotel suits your group?
Choose by vibe, not only by price. Kahama in Bamburi is simple and good for groups who will be out most of the day. The PrideInn beach resort in Shanzu is big, lively and has a large pool area. Voyager in Nyali is all inclusive, so nobody argues over the bill at dinner.

Can Mombasa girls trip packages include a birthday?
Yes. Tell us whose birthday it is and the date. We can arrange a cake, balloons and room decor, or a private dinner on the beach where the hotel allows it.
These extras are priced on request because they depend on the hotel. Order the cake at least five days before you travel.
How do you get there and around?
Take the SGR. Economy costs KES 1,500 one way and first class costs KES 4,500. Book early for Friday departures because seats sell out. Our SGR guide explains times and classes.
Around Mombasa, use Bolt or Uber in the evening. Nyali to Bamburi is about 6 km and about 18 minutes by car. Tuk tuks are cheap for short hops in daylight.
Is Mombasa safe for a group of women?
Yes, with normal city sense. Stay together at night and use ride hailing apps rather than street taxis. Watch your drinks. Keep phones and bags close in the Old Town and on the beach.
Beach sellers can be persistent. A firm but friendly no thank you works. Dress for the beach at the beach and cover up a little more in the Old Town, which is a conservative area.
How do we book Mombasa girls trip packages and split the cost?
One friend sends us the dates and the group size on WhatsApp. We hold the rooms and send a quote with each person's share.
Each friend can then pay her deposit and balance by Mpesa, bank or card. The full balance is due before travel. This keeps things fair and stops one person from carrying everyone's money.

How to book Mombasa Girls Trip Packages
- Send your dates. Message us on WhatsApp with your dates, how many people are coming and the ages of any children. Tell us your budget. We plan with it, not around it.
- Get a written quote. We reply with a clear price per person, what it includes and what it does not. If a cheaper hotel or a shorter route makes more sense, we say so.
- Tweak it until it fits. Change a hotel, add a night or swap an activity. Changes cost nothing until you confirm.
- Confirm with a deposit. A deposit holds your rooms, seats and transport. You get a written confirmation with every detail and the date the balance is due.
- Travel day. Your driver meets you with a name board. You have their number and ours for the whole trip.

Which part of Mombasa is best for a girls trip?
Nyali has the most restaurants and nightlife close to the beach. Bamburi is cheaper and quieter but still near the action. Shanzu has big resorts with large pools. If you want a quieter trip, Diani on the South Coast is also popular for ladies getaways.
How many days do we need for a girls trip to Mombasa?
Two nights works for a weekend from Nairobi by SGR. Three nights feels more relaxed and gives you one full day with no travel. Many groups leave Nairobi on Friday morning and return on Sunday or Monday afternoon.
Can we bring our own drinks to the hotel?
Most beach hotels do not allow outside drinks in public areas and may charge a corkage fee. Rules differ by hotel. Ask us before you travel and we will check your hotel's policy. All inclusive plans usually include local drinks.
Can we pay in instalments?
Yes. Each person pays a deposit to hold the rooms. You then clear the balance in instalments before you travel. Payments can be made by Mpesa, bank transfer or card.
What should we pack for a ladies trip to Mombasa?
Pack light cotton clothes, two swimsuits, a cover up, sandals and one outfit for the dhow cruise. Add sunscreen, insect repellent, sunglasses and a power bank. Carry a light scarf for the Old Town and for the cold air conditioning on the SGR.
