Which park for which animal
Maasai Mara. Big cats and the migration. If you want lions, this is where you go.
Amboseli. Elephants with Kilimanjaro behind them. The picture everyone has seen. Best light is early morning.
Lake Nakuru. Rhino, both black and white, and flamingos when the water level suits them. Compact and easy to combine.
Tsavo East and West. The red elephants, Mzima Springs and huge empty space. Good for people who dislike crowds.
Diani and Wasini. Dolphins, snorkelling and a seafood lunch. The one day trip that fixes a bad week.
What is included
Park fees, transport in a four by four safari vehicle with a pop up roof, an English speaking driver guide, accommodation and the meals listed on each trip page. Drinking water on game drives. Pick up and drop off in Nairobi.
Not included: international flights, visas, travel insurance, tips and anything personal. We say this plainly because being surprised by extras at the end of a holiday is the fastest way to ruin it.
Common questions
Can I combine parks? Yes, and it usually costs less per day than two separate trips.
Do you take solo travellers? Yes. Tell us and we will price it honestly, a solo safari costs more per person because the vehicle cost does not split.
Do you take families? Yes. Tell us the ages and we will pick camps and drive times that work for children.
