Serengeti or Maasai Mara
They are one ecosystem with a border through the middle. The Serengeti is far bigger and emptier, so you drive further between sightings and you see fewer vehicles. The Mara is smaller and denser, so you see more in less time and you share it.
The herds are in the Serengeti from roughly December to June and in the Mara from July to October. If your dates are fixed, that decides it for you.
Tanzania park fees are higher than Kenya. That is why a Serengeti trip costs more than a Mara trip of the same length. It is not a markup.
Ngorongoro Crater
The crater is a collapsed volcano with about twenty five thousand animals living inside it, including black rhino. You descend at dawn and you are out by early afternoon. One day inside is enough, and it is one of the few places where seeing the big five in a morning is realistic.
Zanzibar
Zanzibar pairs naturally with a northern circuit safari. Five days gives you Stone Town, a spice tour and enough beach to recover from the driving. Flights from Arusha to Zanzibar are short and we book them for you.

Can I start in Nairobi? Yes. We cross at Namanga or fly you to Kilimanjaro, whichever suits the itinerary and your budget.
