Nairobi National Park Safari

The only national park in the world inside a capital city. Nairobi National Park is home to lions, rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes and over 400 bird species. All of this with the Nairobi skyline rising in the background. Perfect if you have a layover, a morning free, or you want a taste of safari without leaving the city.

What to Expect

Morning Option (6:00 AM Start)

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel at 6:00 AM. Enter the park as the gates open. Morning is the best time for predator sightings. Lions are active and leopards might still be out. Drive through open grassland and acacia woodland for 3 to 4 hours. Return to your hotel by 10:30 AM.

Afternoon Option (2:00 PM Start)

Pick up at 2:00 PM. Game drive through the park until sunset. The golden light is perfect for photography. Watch animals silhouetted against the city skyline. Return to your hotel by 6:30 PM.
