Which are the best team building venues in Kajiado?

Nkasiri Adventure Park in Kitengela is built for groups. Packages run icebreakers, a scavenger hunt, trust walks and obstacle challenges in the morning, then swimming, archery and a giant trampoline after lunch. It is about an hour from Nairobi.

CITAM Kadolta Resort sits off the Kiserian Isinya Road. It has a zip line, high ropes and a bridge course, plus camping and tented rooms for overnight retreats. Day activities cost KES 1,500 to 3,000 per person on its listing.

Which venues suit a quiet retreat?

Kudu Hills Nature Park near the Kenya Marble Quarry is calm bushland with kudu and dik dik. It suits reflection sessions, yoga and light hikes, with a nyama choma area for lunch. Entry and activities start from about KES 1,500 per person.

Masai Eco Lodge sits on a 123 acre organic farm about 18 km from Kajiado town. It has cottages, manyatta rooms, a pool and conference halls. Farm activities such as milking and herding make a fun change from office life. Olooloitikoshi Delights Lodge on Pipeline Road has a hall for up to 60 and 11 rooms for small leadership teams.

How much do team building venues in Kajiado cost?

Venue entry alone can be cheap. Nature and adventure parks charge from about KES 1,500 per person. The full day costs more because you also need buses, lunch, facilitators and equipment.

What does a typical day look like?

Buses leave your office at about 7:30 am. Arrive by 9:00 am for tea and a welcome. Facilitators run icebreakers, then team challenges such as relay races, blindfold trust walks and problem solving tasks. Lunch at about 1:00 pm.

The afternoon is lighter. Zip lining, swimming or a short nature walk, then a debrief where teams share what they learned. Prize giving and photos, then buses back to Nairobi by about 6:00 pm.

Kajiado is hot and dusty in the dry months. Ask staff to wear trainers, a cap and clothes they do not mind getting dirty. Bring sunscreen and a refillable water bottle. We carry drinking water, a first aid kit and spare T shirts in team colours if you order them. Anyone with a medical condition should tell the facilitator in the morning briefing.

Can you combine a hike with team building?

Yes. Ngong Hills is the classic choice. The ridge has seven peaks and views over the Rift Valley on one side and Nairobi on the other. Groups hike for two or three hours, then run team games at a lunch venue.

Which places add culture and learning?

The Maasai Ostrich Farm in Kitengela charges KES 300 entry and KES 500 for an ostrich ride. Olorgesailie Prehistoric Site on Magadi Road shows stone tools hundreds of thousands of years old, for KES 200 per adult.

For a bigger trip, Amboseli National Park is also in Kajiado County. Citizens pay KES 1,500 under the KWS fees from October 2025. Elephants with Kilimanjaro behind them make a strong closing photo for a two day retreat.

How do you choose between team building venues in Kajiado?

Match the venue to your goal. For energy and fun, pick an adventure park. For strategy and reflection, pick a quiet nature park or lodge with a hall. For very big groups, check parking, toilets and shade before you book.

Also think about the road. Some venues sit on rough tracks that slow buses in the rainy season. We check road conditions before the day and adjust timings.

How does Kajiado compare to Naivasha and Machakos?

Kajiado is usually the most affordable option and among the closest to Nairobi. Naivasha has more lakeside venues and boat rides but costs more. Machakos is similar in price, with hills and a reservoir.
