Mombasa Marine National Park protects 10 square kilometres of coral reef, seagrass meadows and sandy beaches along the North Coast. The snorkeling here is some of the best in East Africa — warm, clear water with visibility of 10–20 metres and hundreds of species of fish, corals and marine life. What You Will See

Brain coral, table coral, fan coral. Parrotfish, angelfish, clownfish, lionfish, triggerfish, moray eels. Sea turtles (green and hawksbill), sea urchins, starfish. Occasionally: dolphins, reef sharks, octopus.
