Day by day plan

1. Day 1

   Nairobi and the Giraffe Centre

   An easy first day with no long drive. Visit the Giraffe Centre to hand feed giraffe at eye level, then the Sheldrick elephant orphanage to watch baby elephants during their public feeding hour. Both stops are short, active and popular with children of almost any age.

2. Day 2

   Nairobi to the Maasai Mara

   The drive to the Mara takes about 5 to 6 hours, broken up with a lunch stop and views over the Rift Valley escarpment. You arrive by mid afternoon and head straight into an easy evening game drive before dinner at camp.

3. Day 3

   Full day Maasai Mara
