In Limuru, Burudani Adventure Park runs morning team games followed by a high ropes course, zip lining and sky cycling. It is about an hour from the city. Brackenhurst, also in Limuru, sits on 100 acres of restored indigenous forest and hosts groups of up to 250, with a high ropes course and a 2.5 km forest walk.
In Kiambu, The Forest at Kereita near Kimende is known for one of the longest zip lines in the region. In Machakos, the Lukenya Maanzoni Conservancy offers game walks, horse riding and bush meals on open savannah about 50 minutes from Nairobi.
